Greater Austin Garage Arts (G.A.G.A.) is at it again!
You loved our event at USAA, you asked for later hours, you want a fun event that has a full bar yet is still family friendly.
Come to the Moose Lodge on the 21st and experience it all over again or for the first time! (RSVP on Facebook HERE!)

$pay what you wish – suggested donation
Proceeds of this fund raiser help us bring workshops to underfunded area schools and foster care programs. Support local nonprofits and arts and get a LOT in return!

We’ll be crafting and creating with our Seam Team ready to assist on sewing projects.

What do you do?
1. get in some early Spring cleaning and bag up unused items that are still in fair shape
2. bring the bag(s) to the swap where we’ll dump them into a pile
3. refill your bag with new-to-you awesome stuff
You can trim and tailor at the swap, and our Seam Team members will help guide you through your creation (tips appreciated).

We will also have a silk screening workshop at this swap.
There will be new and funky designs for you to use so bring a blank shirt or find something at the swap to embellish!

And we’ll have another fantastic raffle.
Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.
So for we have our G.A.G.A. Grab Bag and a $20 Gift Certificate from Blue Velvet Vintage on the list.

The 21st @ Moose Lodge will be our final fundraiser for Feb. and will be “pay what you wish”. Bring in the coin jars, the washed dollars and whatever else you can scrape together to help Greater Austin Garage Arts workshop outreach.

At Greater Austin Garage Arts (G.A.G.A.) we show people of all ages and abilities the valuable knowledge that promotes confidence, self-worth, eco-wise choices, and creative play. We share our creative skills and ideas that develop confidence, a positive self-image, goal achievement and more.
In an effort to raise funds so that we can continue our youth and community outreach we hope that you will join us at this swap.

Donation notes:
Any trims, buttons, zippers, findings, etc. will be used at our next elementary school workshop Feb 28th. All clothing and household item donations that remain after the swap will be donated to Treasure City Thrift (http://www.treasurecitythrift.org/ our community partner).
Any books brought to the swap will be collected for Inside Books Project (http://insidebooksproject.org).

Worried there won’t be anything your size at the swap?
We have clothing in all shapes and sizes and have a Seam Team that knows how to make stuff fit too (or make 12 sweaters into a dress, a dog toy and a nifty hat). That’s right, you can tailor and trim or ask our Seam Team members for help (tips appreciated).

Also, thanks to our hosts at the Moose Lodge, our favorite bartender Polly will be serving up some of the best drink prices in town (sodas and coffee too) for Moose members and qualified guests …this means you
